Beast Tamer Animation

This is the story of a beast tamer who can tame anything, and the bonds he forms with his treasured companions. The hugely popular taming fantasy had surpassed two million copies in circulation at the time of this release’s announcement.

The story combines warm everyday moments with charming beasts and the close bonds between its companions. The home-video series features newly illustrated packaging, special booklets containing newly written fiction, and bonus material including soundtrack or radio recordings and promotional footage.

“Rein, you’re fired.”

Beast tamer Rein has been travelling with the hero’s party in their quest to defeat the Demon King. One day, however, his companions brand him useless and expel him from the party.

Choosing the life of an adventurer so that he can live freely, Rein encounters a girl named Kanade being attacked by a monster during his examination. He risks his life to help her escape, only for her to defeat the monster with a single blow.

Kanade is a girl of the cat spirit tribe, one of the strongest species, whose power far exceeds ordinary limits. Drawn to Rein’s talent and kindness, she asks him, “Would you like to try taming me?”

After forming a contract with the powerful cat-eared girl, Rein begins a new life as an adventurer. Yet the heroes who expelled him, and members of other strongest species, begin to notice his abilities.

This volume comes in a newly illustrated sleeve case and includes a special booklet containing newly written fiction, together with the first original soundtrack collection. Its video extras feature a creditless opening sequence. Product specifications may change.
