BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita Blu-ray

BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita Blu-ray follows two actors whose on-screen partnership becomes complicated by the feelings they keep off camera. Alan Abe and Nichika Akutsu star in this live-action adaptation of Suzuri Machi's romantic-comedy manga, directed by Izuru Kumasaka.

Rising star Yuichiro Akafuji is cast opposite Hajime Aoyagi, a former child actor whose adult career has lost momentum, in a drama based on a popular boys' love manga. Aoyagi wants their project to succeed, but Akafuji's cold responses make working together difficult. When their producer suggests sharing a home like their characters, Aoyagi takes the idea seriously as preparation for the roles.

Living together brings them closer while making Akafuji's secret increasingly difficult to hide: far from disliking his co-star, he is an intensely devoted fan. The tension between his outward reserve and private excitement drives their awkward domestic encounters as rehearsals begin to blur with genuine attraction.

The disc includes approximately 193 minutes of the drama and 72 minutes of supplementary footage. Behind-the-scenes filming, cast choice games, an improvisation challenge, final-day filming moments and selected short videos accompany the story. An eight-page visual booklet is also included.
