Blue Comet SPT Layzner Chronicle gathers character, mechanical and background designs together with official illustrations, including earlier work by Kunio Okawara. Proposals and setting material from the preceding Stealth Wise concept document the series' development.
A conversation between director Ryosuke Takahashi and a producer from Visual Design adds a production perspective. New Okawara artwork decorates the slipcase, and the book covers also feature newly drawn illustrations.
Published by Bandai Namco Filmworks, the Japanese-language set comprises the A4 portrait-format ACT-I and ACT-II books, specified as more than 350 pages each. ACT-I uses color printing and ACT-II monochrome.
