Blue Orchestra Premium Classic brings the anime's classical performances into a full-length listening program. Set in a high-school orchestra club, the series makes its characters' performances a major part of the drama; this album features the musicians who actually played for the main characters.

Ryota Higashi performs Pachelbel's Canon, heard when Hajime Aono plays in the story. Hilary Hahn, the performing musician behind Hajime's father Ryuji, interprets Paganini, while Maria Duenas plays Vivaldi's Four Seasons, a showcase for the club's concertmaster So Harada.

Nine complete recordings gather the repertoire performed by members of the Umimaku High School orchestra club rather than shortening the music to its screen appearances. Bach, Bizet, Kodaly and Dvorak join Pachelbel, Paganini and Vivaldi, with contributions from cellist Haruma Sato, violinists Kyoko Ogawa, Yurie Yamada and Takuto Owari, pianist Haruka Kuroda and the Blue Orchestra Special String Ensemble.
