Mohiro Kitoh’s acclaimed manga becomes a compact complete-series release of the television anime originally broadcast from April to September 2007. All twenty-four episodes are presented using an HD upconversion from the original master.

During summer vacation, fifteen boys and girls arrive at a nature school. Fourteen first-year middle-school students, excluding elementary-school pupil Kana Ushiro, unexpectedly enter into a contract with a mysterious person calling himself Kokopelli.

The contract carries terrible rules. If they lose a battle, or forty-eight hours pass without a result, Earth will be destroyed and every living thing on its surface will disappear. One of those who signed the contract is chosen to pilot the robot alone, and the pilot cannot be changed at will. The robot runs on human life energy: each battle takes the life of its pilot. Will the world perish, or will they?
