Bokutachi wa Mada Sono Hoshi no Kosoku wo Shiranai Blu-ray Box

Hayato Isomura stars as Kenji Shiratori, a lawyer whose distinctive sensitivities and difficulty fitting into groups once kept him away from school. Working in a small legal practice, he is sent by his mentor Kaoru Kurushima to become the school lawyer at Hama Solaris High. The newly coeducational school has just been formed by merging a boys' technical high school with a girls' academy, and conflicts arise almost immediately.

The school's new gender-neutral uniform proves unpopular, with some pupils refusing to wear it. When student council president Yoshinori Takano and vice-president Mizuho Saito both stop attending, the school asks Kenji for a solution. He can offer legal advice but struggles to understand a place he has always found uncomfortable. Japanese teacher Suzu Koda supports him as students begin linking the absences to the new school rules, and one threatens legal action to abolish uniforms. Kenji proposes a mock trial about the uniform policy, beginning an uneasy effort to face problems that rules alone cannot settle.

Mayu Hotta plays Suzu and Goro Inagaki plays school chairman Misao Ozaki, alongside Kami Hiraiwa, Miwako Ichikawa, Maki Sakai, Toshinori Omi, Hana Kino and Ken Mitsuishi. Mika Omori's original screenplay follows young people and adults confronting school, family and personal difficulties, with music by Benjamin Bedoussac and Yorushika's theme song Shura, inspired by Kenji Miyazawa's Spring and Asura.

The four-disc box contains all 11 episodes across three Blu-rays, totalling 512 minutes, plus a fourth Blu-ray with 109 minutes of extras. Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio accompanies the series, with Japanese accessibility subtitles on the main program. Extras comprise making-of footage, an interview with Hayato Isomura immediately after filming wrapped, the astronomy club's room-set tour and a collection of cast wrap-up moments.
