Cagaster of an Insect Cage Volume 1 Blu-ray with Soundtrack CD
Web 虫籠のカガステル 上巻
In the year 2125, a strange disease known as Cagaster transforms people into enormous insects. Stripped of reason, the creatures attack humans and continue to multiply. The story follows Kidow, a young exterminator who hunts Cagasters, and Ilie, a girl whose past is shrouded in mystery.
Adapted from a web manga with a devoted following and international recognition, this survival-action anime uses 3DCG to bring its battles against giant insects to life. This first volume contains episodes 1–6.
The release includes the first original soundtrack CD, featuring music from the series, and a booklet with newly drawn manga by the original creator. A creditless opening is also included.
