Captain Tsubasa Animation

The long-awaited Junior Youth arc of Captain Tsubasa comes to animation. Following the acclaimed broadcast that began in October 2023, this middle volume continues the international competition.

The national junior-high-school football tournament ended with Nankatsu Middle School and Toho Academy sharing the championship. Afterwards, Japan selects its Junior Youth team for the international tournament to be held in Paris, France. Alongside Tsubasa, who vows to take his game onto the world stage, the formidable line-up includes Hyuga, Wakashimazu and the overseas players Wakabayashi and Misaki.

Meanwhile, the world's great footballing nations, whose strength surpasses Japan's, are also making their move. New rivals including Germany's Schneider, France's Pierre, Argentina's Diaz and Italy's Hernandez gather in Paris, determined to claim the title of the world's best. A fierce battle with dreams and pride at stake is about to begin!

After enduring repeated setbacks on their European tour, Japan's Junior Youth side takes its revenge against Italy. Their next opponent, Argentina, has the genius midfielder Juan Diaz waiting for them. As Tsubasa searches for a way to break through, a familiar player returns to the pitch for the first time in three years. In the crucial contest for a place in the knockout stages, Tsubasa and Hyuga aim for the final four through their combined play.

This limited edition features a newly illustrated box and an accompanying booklet. Promotional footage and creditless opening and ending sequences are also included. Product specifications and bonus contents may change without notice.
