A collection of hits by CAROL, the legendary rock’n’roll band led by Eikichi Yazawa.
Formed in 1972 after a notice brought the musicians together, the group raced through a brief career before their striking break-up in 1975. Their influence reached far beyond musical boundaries.
This collection brings together favourites from their heyday. Johnny Okura’s tender voice and delicate lyrics intertwine with Yazawa’s vocals and his catchy, beautiful melodies, capturing a band that planted the seeds of rock’n’roll in Japan and saw them flourish.
