Chained Soldier opens on Blu-ray with Volume 1, containing episodes 1–4 in the publisher’s uncensored Reward Version. A newly illustrated slipcase featuring Kyouka Uzen and a special twenty-four-page booklet accompany this edition.

Mysterious gates suddenly appear across Japan. Beyond them lies the otherworldly realm of Mato, where peaches grant extraordinary abilities only to the women who eat them. To defeat the monsters known as Shuuki, an all-female fighting force called the Demon Defense Force is formed. High school student Yuuki Wakura is searching for a place where he can make a difference when he wanders into Mato and comes under attack. Kyouka Uzen, the beautiful commander of the force’s Seventh Unit, arrives to help. Her ability transforms Yuuki into her slave, awakening the strength with which he defeats the attacking Shuuki. He begins fighting alongside the force while serving as both Kyouka’s slave and the unit’s caretaker, opening a new battle-fantasy adventure.

Supplementary features include creditless opening and ending sequences, post-recording after-talks and character mini-commentaries for episodes 1–4, plus footage from two advance-screening event sessions. The first session features Yuya Hirose and Akari Kito, while the second features Akari Kito and Hina Tachibana.
