Chiemi Hori's fortieth-anniversary box brings together ten original albums released between her 1982 debut and 1987, a compilation of songs first issued on best-of albums and cassette projects, the 1983 Chiemi Live album, and her 2005 collection of seventies and eighties idol-song covers. Thirteen remastered UHQCDs contain 195 tracks.
Non-album singles, B-sides and original karaoke versions expand the albums, with three karaoke recordings appearing for the first time. The DVD uses the VHS master of Chiemi Live for its first DVD presentation and adds the making-of film originally paired with 80's Idol Songs Collection.
A 124-page booklet accompanies the individually cased discs. It includes a message from Hori, single covers and reproduced artwork, while the disc jackets reproduce album backs, photographs and pinup material where possible.
