Chihiro-san Blu-ray
映画 ちひろさん
Chihiro is a former sex worker employed at a bento shop in a small seaside town. She is a little foul-mouthed, moves at her own pace and is free. She stands out in the town, a strange sort of adult. Yet, for some reason, people want to see her.
An elementary-school boy waiting alone for his mother to return, a high-school girl unable to tell anyone her true feelings, and a taciturn homeless man... Chihiro's blunt words and aloof manner are lonely, yet somehow warm. Come and meet Chihiro to experience this curious feeling for yourself.
The cast includes Kasumi Arimura, Hana Toyoshima, Tetta Shimada, van, Ryuya Wakaba, Yui Sakuma, Itsuki Nagasawa, Miwako Ichikawa, Keiichi Suzuki, Toshie Negishi, Mitsuru Hirata, Lily Franky and Jun Fubuki.
The Blu-ray contains the feature film, cast and director interviews, deleted scenes cut from the feature, a special video shown during the theatrical release, two trailers and still-image cast and staff profiles. The region-free 131-minute presentation provides Japanese Linear PCM 5.1-channel surround sound with no subtitles. Design and specifications may change without notice.
