Haruka Fukunaga moves to Tokyo dreaming of a stylish university life, only to find herself rushing between classes and an izakaya job with no makeup and bedhead. An accidental encounter introduces her to the dazzling Hikaru Kamiyama, a fashion-conscious young man whose feminine appearance and confidence leave her captivated. When her admired senior Keisuke Kurotaki invites her out on her twentieth birthday, Haruka hurries to buy cosmetics but has no idea where to begin. Spotting Hikaru in the store, she turns to him for help.

Adapted from Wakana Yanai's manga, Cinderella Closet follows Haruka and Hikaru through makeup, fashion, friendship and first love. Her straightforward sincerity meets his sharp tongue and genuine encouragement as they learn to live more honestly as themselves. Their circle also includes Kurotaki, Hikaru's fellow vocational student and wealthy classmate Kirigaya, and beauty influencer Miori Suzuki. Ichika Osaki and Leo Matsumoto star alongside Yuna Mito, Kei Yamazaki, Kazuyuki Aijima, Yoshiko Tokoshima, Karma and Rintaro Hachimura. Koji Endo supplies the music, with Frederic's "Akuma" as the theme song.

This box contains all twelve episodes across two Blu-ray discs, with a main-programme running time of 240 minutes. A separate DVD supplies 99 minutes of extras: behind-the-scenes production footage, cast wrap celebrations, a special guide, an association-game challenge, a joint interview with Osaki and Matsumoto, and a three-person interview with Hachimura, Karma and Mito.
