Collar x Malice Animation

Collar x Malice — Deep Cover brings together both parts of the theatrical anime in one Blu-ray box, with a special jacket newly illustrated by original character designer Mai Hanamura. Building on the original game, the films unfold an expansive alternate “what if” story created for the cinema. While the investigation of the X-Day Incidents continues, another case takes place behind the scenes.

Since its first release in 2016, Collar x Malice has captivated fans with Mai Hanamura’s beautiful characters, its distinctive world and a suspenseful story. A stage adaptation followed in 2019, and the theatrical anime explores the world through its own original narrative. Returning game cast members include Masakazu Morita, Yuki Kaji, Soma Saito, Daisuke Namikawa and Ryohei Kimura. Kaede Hondo voices Ichika Hoshino, while Katsuyuki Konishi plays the newly introduced Mitsuru Sowa. Kizu’s theme song Ningen x Shikkaku adds another dimension to the story.
