Crayon Shin-chan Anime

A Kasukabe urban legend: look-alike humans appear?! A crisis is approaching! I'll save you with my dancing!

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Crayon Shin-chan's theatrical films with the project bringing films 1 through 19 to Blu-ray. The many classics previously available only on DVD return with high-quality picture and sound. The 14th film is the series' first horror adventure! Shin-chan dances and dances as he springs into action!

Story A fake? It looks exactly like the real person, but it isn't real. Apparently, the look-alike is the one returning home and saying, "I'm home." A Kasukabe urban legend: where have the real people gone? Rumours like these have spread among Shinnosuke and his friends.

One day, the Nohara family is out shopping. Shinnosuke explores the sweets section and, predictably, gets lost. Misae approaches him. Strangely kind, she buys sweets she would normally never agree to buy, much to Shinnosuke's delight. But this Misae is the terrifying look-alike!

Danger closes in on Shinnosuke! Special investigator Feeney appears and saves him just in time. Shinnosuke is completely captivated by the dashing Latin beauty. The real Nohara family tries to escape Kasukabe with Feeney, but the pursuers' relentless chase ends with them being abducted to the enemy's base.

What mystery and conspiracy lie behind the look-alike humans? To protect his real family and Kasukabe, Shinnosuke puts all his strength into his bottom. The passionate dance battle now begins!

Contents and extras The feature film and video extras: the creditless clay-animation opening, theatrical teaser, trailer and a still-image collection of production designs. An eight-page commentary booklet is enclosed.
