Crayon Shin-chan Anime

Has all of Japan turned foolish?! I'll protect the future!

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Crayon Shin-chan's theatrical films with the project bringing films 1 through 19 to Blu-ray. The many classics previously available only on DVD return with high-quality picture and sound. In the ninth film, the adults become obsessed with nostalgia! Dad is acting strange, Mum is acting strange - what on earth has happened?!

Story One day, a theme park called the 20th Century Expo suddenly opens in Kasukabe. The adults are delighted by an amusement park that recreates old television programmes, films and everyday life, allowing them to immerse themselves in a nostalgic world. But Shinnosuke and the other children find it no fun at all. The adults become absorbed in visiting it almost every day...

Before long, Hiroshi stops going to work, Misae stops doing the housework, and Shinnosuke ends up caring for Himawari. In fact, this is the terrifying Adult Empire plan of a group led by Ken-chan and Chako-chan: create a fun world just for adults and stop time!

Eventually the adults go to the 20th Century Expo and never return. At this rate there will be no future! Shinnosuke and the other members of the Kasukabe Defence Force decide to enter the 20th Century Expo to bring them back. But there they find their parents, who have completely returned to childhood, happily playing.

Can the Kasukabe Defence Force defeat Ken-chan and Chako-chan?! And can Shinnosuke return the adults to the present world and protect the future?!

Contents and extras The feature film and an 8-page commentary booklet. Video extras include the creditless clay-animation opening, theatrical teaser, trailer, television spots and a still-image collection of production designs.
