Creepy Nuts Variety & Events

Radio meets live performance in Creepy Nuts All Night Nippon The Live 2022, whose full title declares that the duo’s roots are still in radio. Held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on October 2, 2022, the programme event celebrated All Night Nippon’s 55th anniversary and the fifth anniversary of Creepy Nuts’ radio series. More than 15,000 people experienced it at the venue and through cinema screenings.

R-Shitei, a three-time MC battle champion, and world DJ competition winner DJ Matsunaga bring the talk that made their hip-hop radio programme popular to a hall packed with listeners. The show had moved into All Night Nippon’s first main slot in April 2022. Its 5,000 event tickets sold out as soon as sales opened during the broadcast, while cinema audiences across Japan exceeded 10,000.

The recording preserves the laughter-filled event, including quizzes and challenges drawn from the programme, as well as a live set of Creepy Nuts songs. An exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary follows the event beyond the stage. Released as the duo prepared to leave All Night Nippon in March 2023, this edition preserves that chapter for listeners who attended, watched in cinemas or could not be there.
