Death Note VAP Anime Music

The original manga, with more than 24 million copies in circulation at the time, becomes an anime! The soundtrack accompanies the strikingly popular animated adaptation. Following the success of the live-action film, the television anime project began broadcasting on Nippon Television.

The long-awaited original anime soundtrack brings together the series' original score and TV-size versions of Nightmare's opening and ending themes, with newly drawn jacket artwork.

The story begins when Light Yagami, a brilliant but bored high-school student, picks up a terrifying Death Note dropped by a god of death. Anyone whose name is written in it dies. Light uses it to inflict death on criminals one after another, eventually becoming known as Kira. Is Light, or Kira, a saviour who will rescue the world, or a dictatorial murderer? Between those who worship Kira and those who reject his actions, the world is thrown into turmoil.
