Dengeki Splatoon 2 The Complete Guide is an official Japanese paper guidebook by Dengeki Game Books Editorial Department, published by Kadokawa under the Dengeki label.

The definitive Splatoon 2 guide delivers 544 substantial pages. Dengeki takes ink battles, weapons and gear, Salmon Run and Hero Mode seriously, bringing their complete strategies together. The Game Systems section introduces everything players should learn in a form accessible even to series newcomers: the facilities of Inkopolis Square and what they offer, amiibo use, basic menus and customization, and fundamental battle actions and controls. Ink Battle Strategy explains the rules and techniques for Turf War, Rainmaker, Splat Zones and Tower Control, then covers every stage by battle rule and explains the factors that decide victory or defeat. The Weapon Catalog thoroughly explains basic use, acquisition and tactics for each weapon class, providing data, performance and usage information for every main weapon, sub weapon and special weapon. The Gear Catalog introduces the three gear categories, headgear, clothing and shoes, and gathers ability data and enhancement advice, with data on more than 200 pieces of gear. Salmon Run explains the basic rules and match flow, ways to fight formidable Salmonids and responses to special events, with maps of Spawning Grounds and Marooner's Bay. Hero Mode Strategy introduces single-player progression and every main and sub weapon, item, object, mechanism and enemy, with complete mapped walkthroughs of all 32 stages across areas 1 through 5. The bound-in Stage Map Book presents one clear two-page stage map per spread for Turf War, Rainmaker, Splat Zones and Tower Control. Study these large maps to plan winning tactics before a match or devise strategies together with friends: players can use them in their own way.
