Detective Conan Animation

A desperate ocean battle royale mystery finally begins! When a forbidden treasure box is opened, a long-concealed past rises to the surface.

Pacific Buoy is an offshore facility built near Tokyo's Hachijo Island to connect police security cameras around the world. Engineers from many countries gather to link it with the network managed by Europol, the European police organisation, as it prepares to begin full operation. A new technology based on facial recognition is also being tested there.

Meanwhile, Conan and the Detective Boys have come to Hachijo Island for whale watching at Sonoko's invitation. Conan receives a call from Subaru Okiya, who is really Shuichi Akai, telling him that Gin has murdered a Europol employee in Germany.

Troubled by the news, Conan slips aboard a patrol boat carrying Hyoe Kuroda and other Metropolitan Police officers assigned to guard Pacific Buoy, and infiltrates the facility.

As preparations for the system's launch continue, the Black Organisation kidnaps a female engineer! A USB memory stick she was carrying, containing certain information, also falls into the organisation's hands.

An ominous propeller sound growls beneath the sea. And a dark shadow creeps towards Haibara, who is staying on Hachijo Island.

The deluxe edition also includes the specially edited television story Ai Haibara's Story: The Mystery Train of Black Iron and the television episode The Camera That Targets Haibara.
