Detective Conan Animation

The Akai family, each carrying dangerous secrets, comes together as the Japanese Bullet is set in motion. A vacuum superconducting maglev train that cuts across Japan launches an accelerating chain of sorrow that seems impossible to stop.

Japan is preparing for Tokyo to host the World Sports Games, the world’s largest sporting festival. To coincide with the opening ceremony, a vacuum superconducting maglev train combining the nation’s technological expertise is announced. Capable of a top speed of 1,000 kilometres per hour, it will connect Shin-Nagoya Station with the newly built Shibahama Station in Tokyo.

With the world watching, an incident suddenly strikes a party attended by prominent tournament sponsors. Corporate leaders are abducted one after another. Behind the unfolding crisis, Shuichi Akai monitors events while the FBI awaits his instructions. As the bells of revenge begin to ring, Conan’s deductions reveal a connection to a notorious series of WSG kidnappings in Boston fifteen years earlier—another case handled by the FBI. Is it coincidence? As crowds arrive in Japan from across the globe, what is about to happen? This standard edition includes the postcard shared with the deluxe edition.
