Digimon Anime

Taichi Yagami, Agumon and the DigiDestined begin their adventure. The adventure from twenty years earlier returns: Digimon Adventure was rebooted in 2020 for a new era.

The year is 2020. Networks have become indispensable to human life. But humans do not know that beyond the network lies the infinite Digital World, inhabited by Digimon. A major network failure strikes the Tokyo metropolitan area. Traffic signals flash wildly and outdoor screens display garbled text. The news reports cyberterrorism.

Taichi Yagami is a fifth-grade student living in a high-rise apartment building near Tokyo. He has stayed home alone to prepare for a weekend summer camp, but his mother and younger sister Hikari, who have gone to Shibuya, are aboard a train that cannot stop. Taichi rushes toward Shibuya to save them. Just as he heads for the station platform, a mysterious phenomenon affects the DigiDestined, and he finds himself in the Digital World. The children meet their Digimon partners and face an unknown adventure.

Box two contains episodes thirteen through twenty-four on two Blu-rays. It features a newly illustrated three-sided box, picture-label discs and a special booklet. The video extra is the creditless ending sequence.
