Don't Hurt Me, My Healer! Animation

The weakest warrior and a healer with an unbelievably troublesome personality. The adventures of this hopeless party begin here!

The much-talked-about comic with a cult following on Nico Nico Seiga makes its unexpected leap to television animation. Originally serialised on Nico Nico Seiga and subsequently in Monthly Comic Flapper, this hugely popular comic won readers over with the exchanges between the troublesome priestess Carla and the weakest warrior, Alvin, whom she endlessly pushes around. Its unstoppable rise led to its television anime debut in April 2022.

The adaptation brings the original work’s appeal to life, from its charming characters to its rapid-fire comedy. Alvin is weak despite his years of experience, earning him the nickname veteran rookie among his fellow adventurers. Carla is a sharp-tongued dark-elf priestess with a difficult personality, while a certain incident leads the mushroom Ortegaias to join the pair on their travels.

Warrior Alvin journeys in the service of the world and its people. During a battle with a magical beast, Carla, a dark-elf healer, happens to pass by. When he asks her to help, she gives an answer no healer should: “If you ask someone for help, shouldn’t you kneel and place your forehead and both hands on the ground?” To make matters worse, she puts a curse on Alvin that will kill him if he moves away from her. The weakest warrior and the world’s most troublesome healer have had their fateful encounter!

The accompanying video extras include commercials and web previews.
