Downfall Blu-ray

Fall—and live! Starring Takumi Saitoh and directed by Naoto Takenaka, the shocking work depicting a manga artist's extreme burden is fully adapted to film!

Manga artist Kaoru Fukazawa has finished an eight-year serialization and spends his days in lazy, frustrated emptiness. Readers post harsh criticism on social media, his thinking clashes with that of an editor seeking commercial success, and an assistant accuses him of bullying he does not recognize. He also drifts apart from his busy manga-editor wife, bringing their marriage to the brink of divorce. Floating as though escaping the harsh world's annoyances, Fukazawa one day meets Chifuyu, a sex worker with eyes like a cat's. Holding a one-way ticket to degradation, he stands at a crossroads in life...

The main film is joined by trailers and an event-footage collection featuring the completion-premiere screening's stage greetings and release-celebration stage greetings. Specifications may change.

The cast features Takumi Saitoh, Shuri, MEGUMI, Rio Yamashita, Kazunari Tosa, Takashi Nagazumi, Yu Nobue, Karen Miyazaki, Tina Tamashiro and Yumi Adachi.

The region-free Blu-ray contains approximately 128 minutes with original Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and no subtitles.
