Dynasty Warriors 9 Official Design Works Vol. 1 explores the warriors of Wei and Wu through detailed character artwork and 3D model references. It is the first of two volumes that together document the game's 94 characters, including non-playable characters.
This volume features the newly introduced Cao Xiu, Man Chong, Xun You, Cheng Pu and Xu Sheng. Full-body illustrations, six-view model sheets, detailed costume designs and original character concepts are joined by special outfits and artwork for downloadable character content.
Designs for weapons, military equipment and key animals broaden the visual reference material, while storyboards show the individual warriors' endings. Edited by the Dengeki Game Books Editorial Department, this Japanese-language A4 artbook contains 256 pages.
