Tani Yuuki, one of 2022’s breakout artists, presents Kaibutsu as an opening theme for EDENS ZERO. At the time of this release, W/X/Y had passed four hundred million streams and topped both Billboard Japan’s 2022 streaming songs chart and Oricon’s annual streaming ranking. Mou Ichido, released in September 2022, reached number one on various streaming charts the next day and subsequently passed one hundred million streams. His Zepp tour beginning in April also sold out in all seven cities.

After watching the anime, Tani Yuuki wrote Kaibutsu specifically for the series. This fast-moving, energetic rock song draws on the anime’s world and promises the kind of excitement that fills a summer festival.
