Encouragement of Climb Animation

Let’s go to the peak we’ve dreamed of! The long-awaited new sequel to the popular outdoor anime Encouragement of Climb begins.

The series is based on the relaxed, gentle outdoor comic serialised in Comic Earth Star. Koharu, the president of the mountaineering club, joins Aoi and her friends, making their everyday lives even livelier.

Aoi and Hinata began climbing mountains together, gradually increasing the altitude: Mount Tenran at 197 metres, Mount Takao at 599 metres, and Mount Mitsutoge at 1,786 metres. They also reach the summit of Mount Tanigawa, a mountain that holds memories for both of them. As they explore the celebrated peaks of the Kanto region, their circle of friends grows to include Kokona, Kaede and Honoka, enriching their outdoor lives. With greater knowledge of the mountains, better equipment and improved physical strength, Aoi sets her sights on even greater heights.

This volume includes a collection of creditless ending sequences.
