Estab Life Great Escape Blu-ray Box

An original project from Code Geass creator Goro Taniguchi begins. Starting with television animation, this major project unfolds a variety of stories through smartphone games and film. "Is life hard? Then just run away." Escape, escape, and keep escaping. In a radically transformed Tokyo, five professional escape agents help people who want to leave. The opening theme is performed by Meychan, a hugely popular rising star of the online singer scene.

In the distant future, humanity has taken on many different forms beyond its former appearance, including beast people, cyborgs and demons. Tokyo has become a collection of districts called clusters, enclosed by high walls managed by artificial intelligence. Free movement between them has ended, and each has developed its own culture and understanding of what is normal.

People live happily according to the conventions of the cluster in which they were born. Yet some find themselves unable to adapt. Others make a living by helping these people escape to different clusters. These escape agents take requests from those who want to leave, use every method available to outwit the AI, and accomplish journeys between clusters that should be impossible. Escape, escape, and keep escaping: this is the story of five agents who help people get away.

The three-disc Blu-ray box contains all twelve episodes. The cast features Tomomi Mineuchi as Equa, Rie Takahashi as Feles, Maria Naganawa as Martes, Show Hayami as Alga and Shinichiro Miki as Ulula.

The set uses a newly illustrated wrapped slipcase box and digipak packaging. Episodes 4, 8 and the finale include audio commentary with Tomomi Mineuchi, Rie Takahashi, Show Hayami and director Hiroyuki Hashimoto. Video extras include the first live broadcast of Estab Life: Nige Radio!, a promotional-video collection with the teaser, escape-agent and main videos, and creditless opening and ending sequences. Designs and specifications may change without notice.
