EUREKA Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Standard Blu-ray

EUREKA — Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution, Standard Blu-ray Edition

The series concludes. Eureka's final journey. The end of a girl. The beginning of a girl.

The final film in the new theatrical trilogy of the hugely popular Eureka Seven series, whose original television anime aired in 2005. At last, Eureka takes the leading role as the series' final story unfolds. Continuing from the shocking previous film ANEMONE, it presents an entirely new scenario, with newly created animation throughout, in a feature running over.

The theme song is performed by Hentai Shinshi Club, a unit whose pleasantly melodic, genre-defying music captivates listeners, especially teenagers, despite its striking name. The film also features The Strength in Life by HIROSHI WATANABE, who has contributed to Eureka Seven, offering material to satisfy long-standing fans.

Story Eureka created a virtual world within the Scab Coral, a coral-like information life form. Ten years have passed since that virtual world collapsed and its inhabitants appeared on Earth. After this Great Fusion, the people from the virtual world call themselves Green Earth, while the Earth's previous human inhabitants call themselves Blue Earth. Various conflicts continue beneath the surface. Dewey Novak, a senior Green Earth military officer, rises with his comrades to defend their dignity and finally puts a large-scale terrorist plan into action.

Hated throughout the world as the cause of the turmoil, Eureka has become a senior combatant in A.C.I.D., the United Nations' independent division and unassigned-duty unit. Living to preserve peace in this world is the path of atonement she has chosen. She is then ordered to protect Iris, a girl who is a new EUREKA with the ability to control Scab Coral. At first the two clash constantly, but their lonely flight gradually leads them to understand each other. When the world faces a crisis, Eureka fights, drawing on her power to its limits. “I want to protect Iris and this world.” What future awaits at the end of Eureka's wish?
