Even Given the Worthless 'Appraiser' Class, I'm Actually the Strongest Blu-ray Box

The long-awaited Blu-ray release of the television anime brings a fantasy of dramatic reversal from a supposedly worthless profession to home video. The original novel has received 41 million page views on Shosetsuka ni Naro, while the manga adaptation serialised on Kodansha’s Magapoke has surpassed one million copies in circulation.

Ein is an appraiser, the weakest and most unfortunate class, able to do nothing beyond appraisal. His companions call him a rubbish scavenger and treat him cruelly. Unable to like himself, he spends his days feeling ashamed and inferior.

His destiny changes completely when he meets Yuri, a spirit of the World Tree, and Ursula, the sage who protects her. Yuri gives him a spirit’s prosthetic eye, and Ursula puts him through intensive training so that he can master it. As Ein grows steadily stronger, he sets out on a journey to fulfil Yuri’s wish to meet the World Tree’s other sisters. With his natural kindness and newfound courage, he overcomes the many challenges along the way.

The series began broadcasting in January 2025 on TOKYO MX, BS 11 and other stations. Video extras include clean opening and ending sequences, promotional videos and a Blu-ray commercial.

The first-press edition adds a newly illustrated sleeve, a newly written novel and a special booklet. These limited extras are not guaranteed, and standard specifications replace them once supplies are exhausted. Product specifications may change without notice.
