Yuki Kajiura returns to her FictionJunction project with PARADE, nearly nine years after elemental. Twelve vocalists contribute to an album that includes from the edge with LiSA, the ending theme from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Sokyu no Fanfare with Eir Aoi, ASCA and ReoNa for Sword Art Online's tenth anniversary.
Aimer joins for Kai, while KAORI, KEIKO, Yuriko Kaida and Joelle appear alongside Aira Yuki, returning as ASUKA eighteen years after everlasting song. ASCA also sings Yakotoryo, and audition discoveries rito and LINO LEIA contribute to Mo Kimi no Koto o Mitakunai and Hachigatsu no Organ.
Kajiura revisits Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no Yona, a song she originally wrote for Sayuri. Prologue, Moonlight Melody and Sekai no Hate help shape the thirteen-track sequence before Parade. brings the album to its conclusion.
