Fictitious OL Diary Blu-ray Box

The legendary blog that Bakarhythm wrote while pretending to be a female office worker unexpectedly becomes a screen adaptation starring its author. To celebrate the film adaptation, the 2017 drama Fictitious OL Diary, created, written and performed by Bakarhythm, comes to Blu-ray.

After work, I, played by Hidetomo Masuno, browse cosmetics counters, regret finishing the night with ramen, and go to the gym, yet my stomach remains rounded. This slightly careless office worker is close friends with four colleagues: Maki, a coworker whose defined abs sometimes lead people to mistake her for gym staff; the excessively airheaded junior Sae; the overly meticulous senior Noriko Sakaki; and the admirably forthright senior Komine.

The changing room and break room become the setting for hilarious conversations about complaints against the boss, beauty and romance, alongside plenty of small incidents familiar to office workers. The box contains all ten episodes on three Blu-rays, with 239 minutes of main footage and forty-two minutes of extras, totaling 281 minutes. Bonus footage includes cast interviews and a roundtable discussion. The set comes in a three-sided case.

The cast features Hidetomo Masuno as I, Kaho as Maki Fujikawa, Asami Usuda as Tomoko Komine, Ryo Sato as Sae Igarashi and Maho Yamada as Noriko Sakaki.
