Fishmans' music continues to reach new listeners rather than settling into nostalgia. Since Shinji Sato's death in 1999, the group's music has lived on through performances led by Kinichi Motegi, finding fresh audiences across generations.
Supervised by Motegi, this box collects all eight singles from the Pony Canyon era on seven-inch records. The sequence begins with the 1991 debut Hikouki on Virgin Japan and runs through 1994's MY LIFE on Media Remoras. The original singles are reproduced in this collection, preserving the path from the group's early recordings to the later releases of that period.
These singles appear on vinyl for the first time apart from Go Go Round This World! and Ikareta Baby, which previously existed as promotional records. The eight-record set brings the original A-sides and their companion songs and versions together in one box.
