Future Robot Daltanious Volume 2 Blu-ray

Future Robot Daltanious returns at an accessible price. Following Super Electromagnetic Robot Combattler V, Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V and Fighting General Daimos, it closes director Tadao Nagahama's robot-anime sequence. Nagahama left midway through the series, and Katsutoshi Sasaki took over.

In the year 1995, Earth has been attacked and occupied by the Zaar Interstellar Empire. Kento Tate and other war orphans live resiliently in the devastated world. One day, Kento and his partner Danji discover the spaceship Adalus. Its occupant, Dr. Earl, appoints them as pilots of the giant robot Daltanious.

The first half combines comedy with the vitality of Kento and the other children. Kento discovers that he descends from the emperor of the Helios Empire, which created Daltanious, and becomes entangled in the restoration of the royal family and its succession. The second half develops into a serious epic about the tragedy of cloned humans, rooted in the darker history of the Helios Empire and explored through enemy commander Kloppen and Zaar emperor Dolmen.

Daltanious combines three machines with entirely different forms: the humanoid robot Atlaus, the fighter aircraft Gumper and the cyborg lion Beralios.
