Giant Beasts of Ars Animation

The great beasts created the land, and humans stole it. Enraged, the beasts devoured people, who called on the gods to fight back. This is an age of swords, heroes and myth. In a world ravaged by immense beasts, people have learned to prosper by hunting them and using what remains inside their bodies.

Jiro the Undying earns his daily living as a beast hunter. When he encounters Kuumi the Twenty-Second, who is being pursued by unknown forces, he puts aside the sorrow of his past and acts to save her. The human empire’s designs, mysterious experiments and attacking beasts draw Jiro and his companions toward the secrets of their world as the promised time approaches.

Part 1 contains episodes 1–6 of the original television anime Giant Beasts of Ars. A substantial booklet and the Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 CD accompany the programme.

The edition uses a three-sided sleeve and tall case. A newly illustrated storage box designed to hold both parts was announced as a first-press inclusion, available only while supplies last and not guaranteed.
