Girls Band Cry Animation

The Girls Band Cry theatrical compilation films released in 2025 come to home video. This edition presents the first part, Seishun Kyosokyoku.

The protagonist drops out during her second year of high school and moves to Tokyo alone, hoping to enter university. A girl betrayed by her friends no longer knows what to do. Another girl, abandoned by her parents, survives on her own in the big city by working part-time.

This world always betrays us. Nothing ever goes the way we want. Even so, we want to love something. We believe there must be a place where we belong. That is why we sing.

After leaving school and moving to Tokyo, Nina Iseri meets Momoka Kawaragi, the vocalist of the band she admires. Together with Subaru Awa, Tomo Ebizuka and Rupa, they form Togenashi Togeari. They keep moving forward with determination as they confront the obstacles before them.
