Girls und Panzer Concerts

A new challenge for the soundtrack! The Girls und Panzer Symphony Concert comes to Blu-ray. The symphony concert begins!

Girls und Panzer composer Shiro Hamaguchi reconstructed the music himself into an ambitious six-movement symphony, recreating the world of Girls und Panzer through music. At the concert, the Tokyo Philharmonic GuP Orchestra performed alongside an image story projected on a large screen. Around sixty newly drawn illustrations depicted scenes from the television series through the theatrical film. The story-linked illustrations and symphonic performance let viewers enjoy this newly constructed world through both music and images. In the vocal section, theme-song artist Sayaka Sasaki performed songs in orchestral arrangements.

The bonus disc contains the making-of documentary Girls und Panzer Symphony in Prague, narrated by Mai Fuchigami; a Girls und Panzer Symphony image music video; and Maho and Erika's Orchestra Lessons: Symphony Edition, featuring the voices of Rie Tanaka as Maho Nishizumi and Hitomi Nabatame as Erika Itsumi. It also contains the Girls und Panzer Extreme Explosive Sound Screening held on January 5 and 6, 2019, with Mai Fuchigami as Miho Nishizumi, Mami Ozaki as Hana Isuzu, Ikumi Nakagami as Yukari Akiyama, theme-song artists ChouCho and Sayaka Sasaki, and sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami. Comment videos feature Ai Kayano as Saori Takebe and Yuka Iguchi as Mako Reizei.

Audio commentary features composer Shiro Hamaguchi and conductor Hirofumi Kurita. Includes a special four-page leaflet and a jacket with newly drawn anime artwork.
