Good Morning, Sleeping Lion 2 Blu-ray

A middle-aged man with a past as a formidable mercenary usually seems rather unimpressive. But when this sleeping lion awakens, he proves to be an astonishingly powerful professional fighter.

Following the success of its first story, the original drama Good Morning, Sleeping Lion returns with a sequel about the exhilarating exploits of an older hero. Kazuma Kujo makes a remarkable transformation from entertainment manager to apprentice chef.

The new heroine calls Kujo “old man” and throws herself into pursuing her dream. Fierce enemies stand in his way, and the battles grow hotter than before. The sequel also reveals what happened next to the earlier heroine, rising actress Remi Watanuki, and depicts her reunion with Kujo. This thrilling action story celebrates life with overwhelming energy.

Former mercenary and later entertainment manager Kazuma Kujo now works part time making deliveries. By chance, he meets Akane Yuzuki, owner of the food truck Oasis, who is struggling to repay the debts left by her vanished father. Kujo becomes an apprentice chef and helps her.

Akane aims for first-class, high-end cooking, but her expensive dishes attract few customers. When Kujo adds the battlefield meals he often made during his mercenary days to the menu, they quickly become popular and Oasis begins to thrive.

Meanwhile, Akane’s father is being hunted as a traitor by the secret society Artemis. Its sinister reach extends to Akane and then to Kujo. Captured and made the target of a terrifying hunt, can he survive the relentless attacks of a group of hunters? What will become of Akane when she enters the organisation’s headquarters alone to save his life?
