GP Rider 35th Anniversary Album returns to SEGA's 500cc racing circuits with fresh 2026 recordings and mastering supervised by Hiro. The 1990 arcade game brought two riders together for linked head-to-head races; this collection follows its music from the original arcade hardware to the overseas Master System and Game Gear adaptations.
The 34-track programme includes fourteen arcade tracks, six from the 1993 Master System release and ten from the 1994 Game Gear version, newly recorded from their respective hardware. The two home-system soundtracks appear on a commercial release for the first time.
Four new arrangements complete the album. Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and Akane Kimura sing Time Attack -Ride the Game!-, with Kimura's original lyrics adapted into English by Akari Kaida. Hiro revisits Be Over, while former S.S.T.BAND and B-univ member Koichi "Mickey" Namiki reworks The Perfect Power. The vocal arrangement also appears as a karaoke track. Booklet comments come from Mitsuyoshi, Hiro, Yasuhiro Takagi and Namiki.
Some tracks retain noise originating from the original game hardware or sound programs.
