Tsuburaya Productions, the studio behind Shin Ultraman, joins TRIGGER, the creators of Promare, for a new generation of entertainment. In a classroom after school at Tsutsujidai High School, Yuta Hibiki repeatedly draws and erases Gridman in his notebook, trying to capture an image that should still be in his memories.

This world was once created and destroyed by a single girl. Her heart was saved by Gridman, a hyper agent from another dimension, the kaiju with hearts that she had created, and Yuta and his friends. Now in his second year and placed in a different class from Rikka, Yuta decides to confess his feelings.

The peaceful world they have settled into begins to crumble with a thunderous roar. As Yuta faces a crisis, Gridman suddenly returns with a warning that the world’s balance is breaking down. The crimson dragon Dynarex, Gridman’s allies the Neon Genesis Junior High Students, and people from another world including Yomogi Asanaka appear before him one after another. With his feelings for Rikka still unspoken, Yuta’s extraordinary new days begin.

This special edition includes a three-sided slipcase with new artwork by Gridman designer Masayuki Goto, digipak packaging and a 128-page special booklet featuring staff and cast interviews and a roundtable discussion. Bonus programmes include a newly written voice drama and Akira Amemiya’s theatrical-gift voice drama The Accepter Does Not Ring. Staff and cast audio commentaries are also included.
