Since opening her Twitter, YouTube and Nico Nico channels in January 2021, rising singer Shiyui has actively performed and shared around seventy cover videos. In autumn 2021, she was selected as a featured vocalist for jon-YAKITORY through a singer-recruitment project on MECRE, a platform where creators find collaborators. At the time of this release, jon-YAKITORY’s Shikabanese had reached twelve million YouTube views, while their collaboration ONI had passed one million. Shiyui’s powerful, persuasive husky voice has earned support from many listeners, leading to her major-label debut.
