Hajime Tachibana brings more than four decades of solo work together on hajimeht, his first all-time best album. After debuting in Britain with Plastics in 1979, he exchanged guitar for saxophone and began his solo career with H on Alfa/YEN in 1982, continuing in both music and graphic art.
Kan Takagi oversees the collection, with tracks selected jointly by Takagi, Keigo Oyamada of Cornelius and Tachibana. The forty-three-track program spans the 1980s through the twenty-first century and includes a newly produced MA TICARICA remix by Oyamada and Takagi. Yoshinori Sunahara handles mastering, while Tachibana designs the artwork.
