HAN-KUN, the distinctive vocalist from Shonan no Kaze and an established solo artist, follows his 2019 reggae cover album Musical Ambassador with a second volume. Juke Box Man imagines the singer himself as a jukebox, revisiting memorable songs from different eras.
Where the first collection drew entirely on songs originally sung by men, this album also explores material associated with female singers. Working with Jamaican musicians, HAN-KUN preserves each song's character while reshaping it through reggae.
Anri's Olivia wo Kikinagara, Mariya Takeuchi's Genki wo Dashite, MISIA's Tsutsumikomu Yoni and Hikaru Utada's Anata are among the selections. This standard edition contains eleven tracks, beginning with Ranking Joe's introduction.
