Hanzawa Naoki 2020 Director’s Cut Blu-ray Box

All ten episodes reached the number-one worldwide Twitter trend, and the finale prompted an outpouring of messages about missing Hanzawa.

Masato Sakai returns alongside Aya Ueto, Mitsuhiro Oikawa, Ainosuke Kataoka, Kinya Kitaoji, Teruyuki Kagawa and other accomplished, distinctive performers. New cast members join them to create memorable lines and scenes, captivating Japan and turning the series into a social phenomenon. Every episode is presented in a carefully crafted director's cut with previously unreleased footage. The box also includes the spin-off Hanzawa Naoki's Password Under Attack, broadcast at New Year 2020, making this a lavish release for fans.

Naoki Hanzawa, played by Masato Sakai, worked as a banker at Tokyo Chuo Bank. After exposing and condemning the misconduct of Managing Director Owada, played by Teruyuki Kagawa, he is unexpectedly ordered by President Nakanowatari, played by Kinya Kitaoji, to take a secondment at the subsidiary Tokyo Central Securities.

Now head of its Sales Planning Department, Hanzawa handles financial product proposals on a far smaller scale than his work at the bank. The parent bank also saddles the subsidiary with bad projects. Longstanding resentment among the company's own employees toward bankers on secondment fuels resistance and friction.

Meanwhile, Owada has deftly switched to President Nakanowatari's faction, despite having opposed it, using the organization to protect himself and establish a new position. His loyal subordinate, Securities Sales Director Taiji Isayama, played by Ennosuke Ichikawa, also plans to crush Hanzawa.

One day Tokyo Central Securities receives a major acquisition proposal. The large IT company Denno Zatsugi Shudan, a client of employee Masahiro Moriyama, played by Kento Kaku, wants to acquire industry leader Tokyo Spiral, headed by Yosuke Sena, played by Matsuya Onoe. Acquiring the shares would cost approximately one hundred and fifty billion yen or more, an unprecedented scale for the securities firm.

Central Securities is excited at the chance to show the bank what it can do. Suddenly, however, Denno Zatsugi Shudan unilaterally terminates its advisory contract. Hanzawa has no idea that this marks the beginning of another battle with the bank. Can the sidelined banker overthrow the bank? His unrelenting new fight begins.
