Story Hare is a boy who lives with his mother Weda in a jungle village. Though Hare and the villagers obtain their food by hunting and gathering, their values are no different from those of city dwellers: their log cabins contain televisions and game consoles. Then a beautiful girl called Guu appears before Hare. She may look human, but inside she is a monster. At their very first encounter, Guu swallows Hare whole, and he discovers that a different world stretches out inside her body. There are even people living there! After being spat back out, Hare ends up living with Guu, who shows her true nature only to him and appears to everyone else as a cute little girl. His daily life of secret worries begins as he tries to protect the villagers from Guu's clutches!
