Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! Blu-ray Box

His new employer is the Demon Lord’s army. The popular Comic Gardo manga by Muramitsu and Benigashira, with more than 350,000 print and digital copies in circulation, becomes a television anime combining otherworldly fantasy with a working-life story. As Uchimura puts his office experience to use in another world, his challenges offer familiar points of connection and moments that resonate with adults who work for a living.

The Demon Lord’s army has four elite leaders, and the person selected for its last vacant seat is none other than unremarkable office worker Dennosuke Uchimura. Headhunted into this new world, he is offered executive-level treatment. The job itself, however, turns out to be a succession of demanding, life-threatening missions.

Uchimura has no special powers. Instead, he faces the problems of this unfamiliar world with the experience and ingenuity he developed as a salaryman. It is a fantasy career-change story for everyone who works.

Yuki Ono voices the suddenly summoned Uchimura, Konomi Kohara plays Ulmandra, one of the four leaders who confronts this world’s difficulties alongside him, and Akio Otsuka voices the Demon Lord who recruits him. The release presents the complete series, creditless opening and ending sequences, and the Four Heavenly Kings Meeting audio commentary.
