The Heisei Anisong Awards grew from a shared wish to celebrate the anime songs that coloured the Heisei era. Considering songs released across its thirty-one years, a volunteer panel and listeners selected the music they wanted to honour. The nominated songs come together in this lavish DJ Kazu mix.

A panel representing music criticism, broadcasting, anime concerts, DJ culture, anime writing and retail selected the songs across ten award categories, while a further category reflected listeners’ votes.
