In a country within the demon realm, a hero has defeated the Demon Lord, and a tournament is held to determine who will take the vacant throne. Vamirio, one of the Empire’s Four Heavenly Kings and the tournament’s organiser, is furious when Helck, a human hero who should be their enemy, enters the competition.

Before the final, news arrives that Demon Lord Urum’s castle has fallen. Vamirio sets out to retake it with the remaining finalists, including Helck. Smiling as he declares that humanity should be destroyed, he leaves her wondering whether those words reflect his true intentions, and what truth lies behind that smile.

Volume 2 contains six episodes on two Blu-ray discs. The illustrated package features Azudra, while the accompanying booklet collects original creator Nanaki Nanao’s character-introduction pages published on MangaONE but not included in the collected manga volumes.
