Hell's Paradise Stage & Musicals

Yu Kaku’s popular Shonen Jump+ manga Hell’s Paradise, with more than four million copies in circulation, made its eagerly awaited stage debut in February 2023. This release captures the final performance held at 4:30 p.m. on February 26, 2023.

At the end of the Edo period, the condemned prisoner Gabimaru, once feared as the strongest ninja of Iwagakure, is offered a chance of pardon by executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri. To earn his freedom, he must return with the elixir of immortality from Shinsenkyo, an island rumored to be paradise.

Determined to reunite with his beloved wife, Gabimaru sets out for the island with Sagiri. Other death-row prisoners seeking the same pardon stand in their way, while unknown monsters and the mysterious immortals called the Tensen await them. In the chaos of Shinsenkyo, can he find the elixir and return alive? Struggling between eternal life and death, they fight for their convictions in an adventure of ninja arts where every life is at stake.

Supplementary footage includes a rehearsal-room report, a collection of scenes that changed between performances, after-talk digests and a full-stage view of the production. An eight-page booklet accompanies the release.
