Hiro Shimono Kaiko Chiten Special Reading Live 2023 Blu-ray
下野 紘/Hiro Shimono Special Reading LIVE 2023 “邂逅地点” Blu-ray
Hiro Shimono Special Reading Live 2023: Kaiko Chiten brings to Blu-ray the event held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
Based on Kaiko Chiten, released as a digital single and also as a Canime-exclusive CD, the performance features a reading of a newly written scenario by Keita Kawajiri. A writer with extensive knowledge of anime and voice actors, Kawajiri has written and directed many stage productions, including AD-LIVE. Special visual sequences bring the story’s world to life alongside the reading, followed in the second half by an artist concert with the Shimono Band. This distinctive combination of dramatic reading and live music captures a special Hiro Shimono performance originally presented as an event lasting more than three hours.
The general-distribution Blu-ray includes the main program and the “Live Making Movie” video extra. It comes in a specially produced slipcase with an original tall case and an original 16-page booklet. Retailer-specific external bonuses are not included in this edition.
